Dear BelovED Families,
We hope that you are safe and doing well! We know that 2019-2020 has been a very challenging year on so many fronts, from having to swiftly deal with an unprecedented global pandemic to a global response to racism that we deeply hope will bring real and meaningful change.
As we prepare for 2020-2021, we want you to know that your child’s health and safety are paramount in our planning. We are working daily to make the necessary changes to our buildings and overall approach while -- at the same time -- remaining relentless in our efforts to provide a unique educational path for your child.
We feel that a great school is one that continues to evolve. Each grade level builds on the other and each year, your child is exposed to a new curriculum, new electives and new opportunities to truly develop their voice in this world. More than ever, we see how important it is for our next generation to create a world that is more equitable and prepared for ever-changing events. We want our BelovED scholars to emerge as those leaders. For us, there is no greater endeavor than creating that platform for your child and working with our amazing scholars.
Simply, I am deeply honored and humbled to serve as the Executive Director for BelovED.
With deep gratitude,
Ken Schultz
